Cold Weather

Postby GrahamCook » Mon Dec 29, 2014 6:13 am

Hi everyone
Any one venturing out on the scooters or motorbike in this very cold period be extra careful and more visual for black ice. Make sure you wrap up well extra clothing and thermals, being cold can loose a little concentration. Remember what was said about your stopping distances in snow and ice, it can take upto 10 times longer to stop. Keep a safe distance from those in front of you, give yourself longer time for your journey. Ideally don't use the bike try using alternative forms of transport. Keep safe and happy biking. Lastly I wish you a Happy and Safe New Year. Hope to see you all next year, call in for a chat, show us your new bikes and you are always welcome for a coffee, at RJH the kettle is always on. Our Moto is "LIVING THE DREAM". And enjoy life on 2 wheels. Be SAFE and HAPPY BIKING.
